Leslie forgot to start the recorder the last session. Dinshaw had taken the tape to play it for Jimmy and Elsie Ellis. They were very disappointed that it was blank. Annie reports that she was there, and she saw that Dinshaw was very upset. Dinshaw had a special session not scheduled to make up for the one not recorded. He assumes Annie will be surprised he has come for this unscheduled session, but she is not. She was with him and two other people when they discovered the recording was blank.

Annie: Hello darling!
Dr. Nanji: Yes darling…uh…this is a surprise for you?
Annie: Well, not exactly…well, I would not call it a surprise.
Dr. Nanji: No.
Annie: No, because I was very aware of it, you know, when you was with Jimmy…
Dr. Nanji: Yes, yes…
Annie: …and Elsie.
Dr. Nanji: Yes.
Annie: …and you put this thing on the machine, you know? And, uh, you were so upset about it…
Dr. Nanji: Yes I was. I couldn’t sleep…
Annie: And I felt terrible, you know? And I thought, ‘What are you going to do?’
Dr. Nanji: I couldn’t sleep that night.
Annie: I know. But anyway, I am here today!
